Daikyo, Royal Duke and
MTR Corporation are looking to lock in plans to build 10,000 apartments in the Greater Springfield area as the city centre grows.
The total development value is expected to be about $400 million and is expected to span over a decade, labeled as the biggest apartment project in Queensland.
Appealing to the Asian market, the greater Springfield district has been under constant development for more than 20 years.
According to The Australian,
Springfield Land Corporation chairman Maha Sinnathamby said the town centre development would give residents an easy lifestyle within walking distance to the Mirvac Orion shopping precinct and Mater Health facilities.
Expressions of interest are under way, specifically attracting institutional investors and the department of Defence for its proximity to the Amberley air base.
