The Foundry's Final Release Set To Bring Sydney's River City To Life

Coronation Property is preparing to release the final apartment offerings in its masterplanned community along the rejuvenated Georges River in Liverpool,The Paper Mill's 'The Foundry' will be released to market this April and Coronation Property said it was 'saving the best till last'.

The final offering will include a range of apartments from one bedrooms to three bedroom apartments within the tower positioned to take full advantage of water views.

The Foundry represents the first time that larger, three bedroom apartments will be available on higher floors within an apartment tower at The Paper Mill precinct, with most previously released, similarly configured apartments positioned close to, or at, ground level.

“The Foundry has a rich history, and this is strongly reflected by way of Coronation’s commitment to restoring materials from yesteryear to bring the past into the present,” Coronation Property Director of Sales Jason Soulos said.

The apartments will also boast a rooftop garden area spanning 1200 square metres by international landscape designer and media personality, Jamie Durie, as well as a rooftop pool that overlooks the Georges River.

Coronation Property has also collaborated with Mr Durie at its highly successful and almost sold-out 8 Phillip Street mixed-use tower in Parramatta, which will offer 314 residences atop a 35-level luxury QT Hotel, crowned by ‘Studio 54’, Sydney’s highest rooftop bar.

When completed, The Foundry will offer 198 apartments across 17 levels, and will be located on the southern corner of The Paper Mill precinct, where it will connect via landscaped walkways to the precincts’ other residential buildings.

The Paper Mill was designed to align with Liverpool City Council’s Georges River masterplan, which proposes a long-term vision for the urban renewal of the Georges River precinct into a true river city.

Mr Soulos said that current population projections indicate that one in three new residents of New South Wales will live in the Great South West by 2036.

Coronation Property is confident that when complete, The Paper Mill will become a prominent presence in western Sydney, transforming the Greater South West’s previously disused river bank areas and offering residents retail outlets, café’s, pop-up shops, farmer’s markets and community activities that will surround the project's repurposed, 19th century heritage mill building.

With road, bus and rail links all in close proximity, as well as Sydney’s largest hospital – Liverpool Hospital, just minutes away, The Paper Mill is also within the only suburb to benefit from two separate university campuses in Liverpool from 2017. These are Western Sydney University’s new Higher Education Centre in Liverpool’s CBD, as well as University of Wollongong, which now has a campus on Moore Street in Liverpool.

Once The Paper Mill is fully occupied, it will be home to approximately 3,000 residents.
