If you thought the “Khaleesi Tower” building by New York architect Mark Foster Gage was the most awesome design ever, just check out this insane concept inspired by the competition for the Helsinki Guggenheim which may be the freakiest.
Prominent Japanese architect Arata Isozaki has labelled him “weird” and this design study for the 129,000 sq. ft Guggenheim Museum to be located on the waterfront in Helsinki, Finland proves it.
https://vimeo.com/145155256Gage, a Professor at the Yale University School of Architecture, says the building was designed exclusively using “recycled digital materials” which were randomly downloaded 3D models of objects.
Despite the sensation Gage has refused to reveal the name of the client for the 102-storey tower, proposed in the heart of Manhattan at 41 West 57th Street, New York City.
