A Chinese developer has paid $10.5 million for a mixed-use site at Leppington in Sydney's south-west. The site was acquired from a deceased estate.
The 5.6ha (55,900sqm) residential development site at 120 Ingleburn Road, Leppington is situated South-East of Leppington Town Centre facing Ingleburn Road.
The property is the first of its kind located within the recently released Leppington North precinct of the South-West growth centre. The precinct offers favourable zoning controls offering tremendous development potential.
The site is within 1 km of the Leppington train station and has easy access to the M7 and M5 Motorways and is about 50 minutes to the Sydney CBD.'The Austral and Leppington North Precincts were rezoned for urban development in March 2013.
The Precincts will deliver capacity for approximately 17,350 new homes for over 54,000 residents. When fully developed the Precincts will also feature:
