Crown Group has today sold the final apartment in its seven-tower 653-apartment development -Top Ryde City Living.

A one-bedroom apartment in the award-winning project was snapped up this week by a buyer thrilled to secure the last apartment for sale.

More than 600 residents now occupy the resort-style development, positioned on one of Sydney’s most spectacular vantage points above Top Ryde City Shopping Centre with views to the Sydney Harbour Bridge, Blue Mountains and North Shore.

Iwan Sunito, Crown Group Chief Executive Officer said the sale of the final apartment at Top Ryde City Living was an incredible milestone for Crown Group.

“For a development of this scale to sell out so shortly after completion is a testament to the high quality and luxury appeal we have worked to deliver,” he said.

“Top Ryde has undergone a complete makeover in the past five years and I am delighted Crown Group has been a key part of the area’s transformation story,” Mr Sunito said.

Top Ryde City Living was completed in August 2014. The development features expansive common facilities including a music room, library, media theatres, indoor and outdoor function areas, a children’s playground and a pool.

“Both the public and industry response to Top Ryde City Living has been phenomenal,” Mr Sunito said.

Top Ryde City Living’s owners whom purchased early have experienced a significant increase in the value of their apartments.

When Top Ryde City Living first released apartments in 2011, a one bedroom apartment sold for about $350,000, and the one bedroom plus study sold this month $754,000.

Top Ryde City Living is the largest development Crown Group has undertaken to date with 653 apartments and approximately 6,000 square metres of outdoor landscaped areas.

Adam Sparkes, Crown Group’s Director of Sales and Marketing said Top Ryde City Living’s success story was a clear sign the project was an attractive, sophisticated addition to Sydney’s apartment market.

“The public have been quick to respond to the new apartments available at every new release over the three-year timeframe,” Mr Sparkes said.

“Our clients whom put their faith in Top Ryde City Living and purchased early, have now been handsomely rewarded.”

“Buyers have jumped at the opportunity to lock in residences that offer unrivalled residential amenities, access to transport links, education, workplace hubs and retail.”

“To see each release over the project’s duration embraced and heavily demanded by buyers is an incredible achievement,” he said.

Top Ryde City Living’s unique location above the Top Ryde City Shopping Centre, has given residents 78,125 square metres of retail and dining at their door step.

Top Ryde City Living has been recognised by some of the most sought-after awards in the industry most recently being named winner of best Outdoor Project at the 2014 HIA-CSR NSW Housing and Kitchen & Bathroom Awards.

Crown Group’s success at Top Ryde City Living follows its success at Skye by Crown in North Sydney which sold 90 per cent of its first release in its first week of sales.
