Melbourne's Shadow Play Makes Mega Sale


A local buyer has snapped up a penthouse on the 45th floor of the opulent Melbourne apartment development Shadow Play for  $10.4 million.

The 45th floor was originally designed as five separate apartments but will now be amalgamated into one large state-of-the-art penthouse apartment totalling 712sqm.

Sales and Marketing Director Ashley Bramich, who made the sale, said the penthouse was sold to an "astute local purchaser, signalling an acceptance for luxury apartment living in Australia".

Construction is set to commence in October 2015, on the luxurious 46-level development at 105 Clarendon Street.

Upon completion in 2018, the Elenberg Fraser-designed development will feature 494 apartments with a mix of one, two and three-bedroom designs.

Residents will have access to a digital platform that will allow them to control the apartment environment and take advantage of exclusive retail and service offers from local partners. The luxurious interiors have been designed by Hecker Guthrie and feature stone, brass and timber.

Amenities will include private dining with kitchen and lounge area, gym, spa, steam room, bubble pool, BBQ and sun bathing area. Common areas will feature a lobby and roof top area, complete with reflective tree pods, onsite café and concierge desk.

The display suite is open to the public at the old King Furniture site at 105 Clarendon Street Southbank.
