A glass slide located more than 300 metres above the ground has been announced as a new heart-stopping addition to the tallest building in the western United States.
The developer of the
US Bank Tower in Los Angeles has announced that the Skyslide will allow adrenaline seekers to shoot from the 70th floor to the 69th floor.
Opening on June 25, the Skyslide will be entirely made of clear, 3.175cm thick glass and will be 13.7m long.
It's part of a $50 million renovation that includes an area on the top floors of the tower called
OUE Skyspace which features a bar and open air observation deck.
A daily ticket to OUE Skyspace will cost US$25 while Skyslide passes will be priced at US$8 each.
Owned by Singapore property developer OUE, US Bank Tower is currently the tallest skyscraper in Los Angeles and the west coast of the United States at 72-levels.
