The 'Urban Pinboard' was today unveiled by City Life Labs at Vivid Sydney's Ideas event, which aims to connect the government, developers and residents in one single conversation, facilitating communications with an easy-to-use, cost and time-saving application.
The app is still in development but will include information such as the location of a new building being proposed, and what it will look like, giving community members the opportunity to offer comments on a project before it is approved.
CEO of the Urban Development Institute of Australia (UDIA) NSW Stephen Albin said the device is game-changing in the urban development landscape.
“The Urban Pinboard is going to revolutionise the way we connect to build our cities,” began Mr Albin.
