With over a decade of professional experience in property development, Adam created The Urban Developer in response to a need for greater engagement, information and transparency in the property sector.
From relatively humble beginnings, Adam has driven the growth of The Urban Developer into an integrated media, events and education network that has established an enviable reputation in both media and property circles.
Adam remains active within the property industry as Managing Director of Brisbane-based development business Di Marco Group. He is also Executive Chairman of CityShape, a disruptive technology start-up for the property industry.
He has been a recipient of the Australian Institute of Management’s ’30 under 30’ Award, represented Australia at the Global Young Leaders Conference in New York and is currently an Ambassador for global microfinance provider Opportunity International.
Having previously worked as a Marketing Consultant on city-defining projects in Brisbane, Lachlan co-founded The Urban Developer and is now responsible for driving its digital strategy, community growth and product development.
With a background in strategic marketing, graphic design, user experience and branding, he has been instrumental in the strategic direction and execution of our vision as an integrated network.
He brings with him an intimate knowledge of property and real estate marketing having previously worked with Nielson Properties, Ray White Group, North Shore Corporation and Ian Webb Architects.
Lachlan is passionate about ensuring the best possible experience for our community of subscribers, partners and contributors.
He is recognised as an industry leader in media, design and technology, as well as being a vocal advocate for sustainable development outcomes and medical research in the community.
Nick brings an enviable dose of enthusiasm and energy to his role as National Sales Director at The Urban Developer.
Equipped with practical experience in property and a degree in Property Economics from Queensland University of Technology, Nick combines an understanding of property and digital marketing to deliver our partners effective and results-driven advertising campaigns.
With a deep commitment to customer service, Nick has established The Urban Developer’s reputation as a credible and effective marketing platform for corporate partners within the industry.
As a highly regarded and driven sales operative, Nick often contributes to industry discussions and workshops.
He is a supporter of several important medical and environmental causes, including Australian Cancer Council, Sea Shepherd and Save the Spit.
Ana is an editorial director with experience in strategy and corporate communications, strategic marketing, media relations, digital publishing, speechwriting and the law.
Ana oversees the strategic direction of The Urban Developer content, managing the editorial team and a fast-paced newsroom publishing five days a week.
Ana is interested in architecture and the future of the built environment, and has worked as a writer and subeditor for major industry publications both internationally and in Australia.
She is an advocate for thoughtful, well-designed and sustainable cities and is fascinated by the possibilities of digital journalism in creating the cities of the future.
Ana came on as editor of The Urban Developer in mid-2017.
Having spent the past eight years running his own successful entertainment business, David brings extensive experience from the music and entertainment industry to his role as Events Director at The Urban Developer.
David’s experience both in Australia and Europe has given him the vision to create engaging, interactive and informative events.
With his passion for both the arts and property combined with a natural flair for performance, David delivers events by ensuring great content and an even better experience.
Drawing upon his experience in booking artists, project management, music production and marketing, David is also equipped to deliver upon The Urban Developer’s commitments to commercial partners to ensure effective results and outcomes.
David is recognised as a talented musician and generous supporter of the arts, music and the creative industries.
Corey joined The Urban Developer in 2017 following the completion of his internship where he gained practical experience across all business units.
Currently completing his Bachelors of Commerce and Economics at The University of Queensland, Corey works closely with clients to deliver effective and results-driven campaigns.
Corey also works closely with the internal team to ensure organisational effectiveness through contributions to the development and implementation of organisational strategies, policies and practices.
With a strong passion for learning, Corey is always looking to expand his knowledge about the industry and build strong relationships with industry professionals.
Maddison comes to The Urban Developer with an architectural background.
Having completed a Masters of Architecture from the University of Queensland, she is passionate about the built environment and cities that give back to the public.
She is interested in the future of urbanism, and the way urban form can shape social and environmental concerns.
Dinah is a writer, journalist and storyteller with a background working in multimedia platforms, magazine publishing and radio across New Zealand, the Pacific and Australia.
Her educational background is in Journalism, marketing and humanities, having graduated with a journalism degree and first class honours degree exploring media representation and the Pacific diaspora.
After more than a decade of property industry experience, Dinah comes to The Urban Developer having worked as a property journalist and subeditor for a national property investing publication.
She has a passion for sharing stories and is intrigued by the role of digital media in connecting people and ideas for the purpose of creating lasting and meaningful change.
Ted is a digital journalist, content producer and media strategist with almost a decade of experience working in Australia and the UK.
He is a graduate of The University of Queensland's School of Journalism specialising in broadcast, graphic design and photojournalism.
Ted comes to The Urban Developer having worked as a digital marketing and content manager for a leading Brisbane-based branding agency.
He has covered a broad range of stories for the publication since starting in 2018 and reports on the latest breaking news in the Asia-Pacific region.
After a decade working in print and online publications Renee joined The Urban Developer to further her career writing for real estate markets, developments and finance.
Renee has a strong interest in science and technology with a Master of Journalism from Queensland University of Technology as well as a Bachelor of Exercise Science from Griffith University.
During her years as a journalist for NewsCorp and independent companies she has covered articles from politics, law, crime, international stories, human interest and sport.
Ingrid’s dedication to creating quality digital content began more than two decades ago when she co-founded Brisbane’s first online writing journal, Mangrove, now archived as a significant site in the National Library.
Since then Ingrid has worked across digital and print media as a journalist and sub-editor with APN, Pagemasters and Bauer Trader Media, among others.
She holds a Bachelor’s in Communication, a Master’s in Writing and is a current PhD candidate.
Ingrid’s first published novel was shortlisted in the Australian/Vogel award and her work is published in numerous national and international anthologies, journals and periodicals.
As secretary of the Asia Pacific Writers and Translators Association, Ingrid has seen first-hand the positive outcomes achieved by a dedicated global network of creative professionals.
