Sydney Penthouse Sells For $9.72M

The most expensive penthouse at ONE30 Hyde Park has sold off-the-plan for $9.72 million to a local buyer.

The two-storey penthouse has an internal lift and views over the revamped War Memorial in Hyde Park to Sydney Harbour and beyond.

The penthouse is 225sqm internally with a 52sqm balcony. It has three bedrooms, three bathrooms, a family room that can double as a further bedroom or a sunroom, and two secure parking spaces.

The penthouse was sold by Ecove, which is developing ONE30 Hyde Park jointly with the Aoyuan Property Group of Hong Kong.

“The penthouse is a balance of intimate rooms and more extravagant spaces, while the balcony is perfect for entertaining friends with Sydney’s green heart as a backdrop, or for a relaxed alfresco family breakfast,” Ecove Sales Manager Louie Bechara said.

“The purchaser of the penthouse wishes to remain anonymous. However, I can say that just like this purchaser, the vast majority of sales have been to local professional people who like the idea of living in a walk-to-work location.”

One bedroom apartments start from $1,068,000, two bedrooms from $2,188,000 and three bedrooms from $3,128,000.

A display suite for ONE30 Hyde Park has been built on the 16th floor at 130 Elizabeth Street.
