5 Ways to Improve Your Online Presence

aa0a3c58-c4ac-453f-b5d0-49c3bd1590b1

Branding and marketing experts Viabrand give us their top five tips for successful online property marketing.

1. Give people what they need

Think about your own online purchasing experiences. You want clear, professional images and easy to understand information in quick, bite size chunks. You want honest language.

The basic facts should be easy to find and it should be simple to get in touch for more information.

Keep your online communications short, uncomplicated and use obvious menus and information placement on your site.

2. Leave them wanting more

There is such a thing as too much information on your website and social media channels. Give people enough information that they can make an informed decision about whether they’re interested.

Don’t give them so much information that they have no reason to get in touch with you. Work out what content people need at each stage of their journey with you and deliver it in stages.

3. Communicate clearly

Before you start your property marketing journey, make sure you have a clearly defined brand. A brand style guide should outline colours, fonts, image and design styles.

Your brand strategy should define language, personality and campaign messaging. Having these strategies in place before you build an online presence and even before you name your development allows for clear, consistent communication.

4. Be memorable

Too many businesses blend in with the crowd. They have average names, and forgettable, sterile communications. This doesn’t engage people. Humans are emotional creatures and the larger the purchase, the more emotion plays a part in the decision.

Sell dreams people aspire to, feature lifestyle benefits, tell people what it feels like to live in your development and don’t be afraid highlight your points of difference.

5. Choose the right channels

There’s no question you need a website, but when it comes to social channels, some will work better for you than others. Don’t waste marketing time on the wrong ones.

Look at the stats for each channel. Use the ones your demographic use and post on the times and days at which they’re most active. Create a regular posting plan for social channels and your website. Be strategic in any social media ad targeting.

Viabrand’s complete property branding and marketing services attract the right buyers to help developers sell sooner.
