‘A Great Support’: Mosaic on Working with Harvey Norman Commercial

Boutique luxury developer Mosaic Property Group, the team behind multiple award-winning projects, including Bela by Mosaic in Mermaid Beach, Drift by Mosaic in Coolum, and Avalon by Mosaic in Maroochydore, is committed to doing things differently.

Taking a unique approach, the private Brisbane-based group manages every aspect of the development process. This encompasses research, site identification and acquisition, design and construction, sales and marketing, and ongoing management and caretaking post-settlement.

Their distinct strategy aligns perfectly with the ethos of Harvey Norman Commercial, which has been working with Mosaic for more than 10 years.

An offshoot of the national retail brand, Harvey Norman's Commercial division caters exclusively to trades.

It offers clients a one-stop shop for appliance, plumbing and technology needs and access to a range of services specifically tailored to the design and construction industry.

With more than 130 employees across three Queensland locations, the growing business has been carefully structured to provide support and expertise at each project phase—from product selection and design advice right through to project coordination, delivery and after-sales care.

Clients are also provided with a personal contact at every step and a dedicated account manager to support and nurture an ongoing relationship.

When asked about its decade-long, ongoing relationship, a Mosaic spokesperson said Harvey Norman Commercial was a reliable and efficient partner who understood its needs.

“We love working with Harvey Norman Commercial. Their deep industry knowledge, insight, and access to a vast range of brands and products have been a great support to the delivery of our growing footprint of premium developments across south-east Queensland.”

The Commercial Division is working closely with Mosaic’s design team to specify and supply their new, ultra-luxury beachfront development Florence by Mosaic (pictured, top) on the Gold Coast.

This stunning collection of nine full-floor penthouse-style residences in Burleigh Heads will feature a mix of high-end appliances from Miele and Gaggenau.

Home to Queensland’s only Gaggenau commercial display, Harvey Norman Commercial’s Gold Coast Selection Centre was the perfect place to discuss the vision for Florence at length and experience the latest products and technology without the distractions of a typical retail environment.

Mosaic’s meticulous attention to detail and passion for quality has resulted in an impressive array of industry awards, recognition, and buyer loyalty.

Several eagerly awaited, sold-out Mosaic developments in Brisbane are currently in various stages of progress, including The Witton by Mosaic in Indooroopilly, Toowong’s The Patterson by Mosaic and Kensington by Mosaic and East Brisbane’s The Sinclair by Mosaic.

Harvey Norman’s Commercial Division has supplied and specified each of these.

Further North, Harvey Norman Commercial’s office on the Sunshine Coast collaborated on Mosaic’s sold-out Lorient by Mosaic in Maroochydore and First Bay by Mosaic in Coolum, the latter being named Project of the Year and Residential Building of the Year at the recent 2022 Master Builders Queensland Regional Awards, with the judging panel admiring the building’s organic form, opulent finishes, and designer kitchens.

In parting, a Mosaic spokesperson said, “High quality, reliable suppliers are essential to our business growth and to maintain our competitive advantage. We find that Harvey Norman Commercial always stays closely involved throughout the entire development and construction process and is responsive to any issues or queries that might arise. We look forward to continuing our partnership”.
