AVJennings is taking seven residential development sites at Creekwood Caloundra to market this week, opening the door for experienced apartment and townhouse developers to gain a foothold in the established Sunshine Coast community.
The land parcels - which boast a combined area of 21,655 square metres - can be purchased in one line or individually, with four sites zoned for townhouse development, two zoned for apartments and one mixed-use site approved for both types of housing.
The sites are being offered through a registration of interest campaign, closing on November 4 2016, in a move aimed at enabling housing on the land to be complete in line with the opening of the new Sunshine Coast University Hospital - which is expected to open in April 2017.
AVJennings will remain the master developer of Creekwood Caloundra, and will continue to deliver the new Creekwood Central, with 31 townhouses recently released in stage one, priced from $345,000.
Future stages of Creekwood Central, which are also under construction, comprise 64 townhouses and a new community park incorporating an adventure playground, which will be delivered by AVJennings.
AVJennings QLD General Manager Rod Chadwick says the developer remains committed to delivering its vision for Creekwood Caloundra.
He says the opportunity for new developers to step in and deliver townhouses and high density apartments will give a broader section of the community the opportunity to call Creekwood home.
