Boutique Developer Delivers Bayside Project

A Brisbane-based boutique developer is on track to deliver its latest project in the suburb of Wynnum.

CBM, which has made a name for itself developing small boutique in-fill sites across Brisbane's middle ring, is now weeks away from completing its latest project—known as Breeze on Berrima.

The collection of new residences, located on a 810sq m site on Berrima Street in Wynnum, will comprise four newly-built townhouses and a front house renovation.

The high-end residential development is well-positioned to take advantage of the sought-after suburb, positioned just 200 metres from the waterfront and vibrant and ever-growing café and restaurant scene.

CBM sounded out the Wynnum Manly area in 2019 where it saw an opportunity to deliver an owner-occupied focused boutique townhouse development.

“Wynnum is one of Brisbane’s hidden jewels, striking the perfect balance between bayside living and absolute convenience,” CBM director Cam Massie said.

▲ The development is alongside the foreshore and is just a few minutes’ walk from Wynnum Central and Manly Village.

“The development, near high-levels of amenities, is also positioned close to vast employment nodes and arterial highways which will give future residents easy access to the plethora of schools, shopping and health facilities nearby.

“It is also within close proximity of the Port of Brisbane, the Airport and Brisbane's forthcoming second runway, which were all drivers when purchasing the site.”

Falling prices on the eastern seaboard have opened a window for buyers in well-serviced, well-located suburbs such as Wynnum, which has been tipped for rapid price growth over the coming years.

▲ A natural palette of whites, charcoals and greys have been selected by CBM.

It isn't just house prices that are expected to grow over the coming years with highly-regarded developers investing in Wynnum's infrastructure and community.

Taiwanese-backed Shayher Group, responsible for the $1 billion mixed-use Brisbane Quarter development, recently submitted plans for a major multi-million-dollar redevelopment for Wynnum Plaza.

Shayher's redevelopment will comprise of a mix of uses including new retail, apartments, cinema, and will be delivered in six stages to allow the shopping centre to remain operational throughout construction.
