Beveridge Williams takes out top honours at the National Surveying Consultancy Awards 2017

The professionalism of Australia’s surveying industry was on show last Friday night at the National Surveying Consultancy Awards 2017.  Held during the Surveying 2017 National congress, these inaugural awards were established to recognise the peak surveying consultancies across the nation.

To acknowledge the efforts of consulting firms of all sizes, the awards were broken into two categories based on organisational size: Small Consultancies (15 employees or less) and Large Consultancies (greater than 15 employees).

Taking out the prize for the Large Consultancy category was Beveridge Williams. Established in Victoria and now with offices across Victoria and New South Wales, Beveridge Williams is a multi-disciplinary development consultancy. They provide a host of services including surveying, civil engineering, traffic and transport engineering, town planning, landscape architecture and urban design.

The judging panel for the awards were impressed by the way Beveridge Williams demonstrated an extremely high level of service delivery, evidenced through an independent highly-complimentary client satisfaction feedback rating. It was noted that this company had also demonstrated an exceptional commitment to the re-generation of the profession through a well-developed graduate training program, and possessed a vibrant company culture which supports career development and staff retention.

Gerry Shone, President of Consulting Surveyors National and part of the judging panel for the awards, commented that ‘Beveridge Williams’ commitment to the surveying profession is outstanding and greatly needed, given the current and future shortage of surveyors across Australia.’
