Bosco Five Docks Brings Little Italy To Sydney

EG is about to launch Italian inspired ‘

Bosco’, a 152 apartment development in Sydney’s Five Dock.

Located 10km from the CBD the ‘Italian village’ inspired project will consist of one, two and three bedroom apartments and terraces.

The architect,

Bates Smart, have considered the traditional nature of Five Dock’s established architecture. They have incorporated sandstone, terracotta and chocolate Roman brick elements to complement the surrounding buildings, as well as tying into the Italian theme.

Interiors consist of timber floors, reconstituted stone benches, stainless steel appliances, open shelving and copper, track and recessed LED lighting is also an added feature.

A central courtyard is in addition to a  six-metre deep sea of perimeter landscaping and a canopy of heritage figs screen buildings from the surrounding streets.

Bosco, which means ‘woodland’ in Italian is located within walking distance to the Five Dock village and with Leichhardt, Balmain and Burwood Westfield away by car.

Accessibility to buses and ferry will surely have added appeal to potential investors, although each apartment does include a car park.

Bosco’s launch is scheduled for October 25 with construction to commence mid 2015. Completion is expected in mid 2017.
