Time is Right for Bracken Hall Commercial Launch

b6547310-59f0-420e-9ec1-7fe6d1e6d5e0

Specialist off-the-plan property sales and marketing agency Bracken Hall are to expand into the commercial property sector, partnering with a former CBRE and Knight Frank director to lead the business.

The commercial arm will be led by Ed Wright, who previously headed the development site sales team's for CBRE and Knight Frank.

The Melbourne-based firm, founded by Matt Bracken in 1998 and joined by Andrew Hall seven years ago, has sold over a 1000 apartments and townhouses for some of Australia’s most awarded and trusted developers since its inception.

The commercial business will allow the agency to work with developers earlier in the decision-making process and assist in site selection.

“It’s been on the whiteboard for some time, but as with everything in business, timing is critical,” Bracken said.

“Right now, the market needs guidance and assistance from specialists to ensure purchases and projects hit the mark, and we feel that this is the perfect time for us to expand our service offering to our clients and the marketplace by launching Bracken Hall Commercial”.

The business directors, including Ed Wright and Clare Johnston, combine for more than 67 years of industry experience.

They saw an opportunity to improve the standard of service in the market and provide more value to developers and buyers. The partnership has been built on many years of working together at CBRE across both the commercial and project marketing divisions.

Bracken Hall Managing director Ed Wright has more than 13 years of experience in the sales and marketing of commercial properties and development sites across South Australia and Victoria, marketing and transacting everything from high-density development towers in the Melbourne CBD to luxury apartments and townhouse opportunities outside of the city.

He's been involved in nearly $3-billion worth of transactions over his career to date.

“We have created a business that developers have been asking for many years now; a specialist business with real market experience and knowledge,” Wright said.

“We have our finger on the pulse and can be more personal with a buyer or seller and more reactive, adding value in real-time—which is what is needed in the current market.”

Bracken Hall Project Sales are currently marketing Gramercy Terraces, the boutique Richmond townhouse project developed by Lendlease at the site of the former Nine Network studio on Bendigo Street and Willow, Brighton, developed by Samuel Property, among other projects.
