“It is our vision to restore Central Dandenong as the capital of Melbourne’s south-east through strategic urban renewal and placemaking to foster a thriving precinct that responds to community needs,” the draft plans said.
“This will complement the existing urban fabric and pay homage to the diverse cultures that define Dandenong.”
Capital Alliance have many major developments in Victoria such as the Kings Domain apartments, Normanby Melbourne hotel and multiple projects in Docklands including the M Docklands hotel, an 88-apartment tower and future Pearl River hotel.
This development represents sites 11 to 15 of the Revitalising Central Dandenong project, which was first announced in 2006 and has received support from the Greater Dandenong Council.
The greater project has already attracted almost $700 million in private investment in a new municipal building, civic square, ATO office, 95-room Quest Apartments Hotel by Pellicano Group and the eight-storey Government Services Hub by Grocon.
