Retail management and leasing firm,
McKenzie Hall has been acquired by
Colliers International in a deal between the specialist east coast business and the international commercial property firm.
It is believed that Colliers were encouraged by the firm's retail property expertise and impressive portfolio of shopping centre and large format retailers.
John Kenny, CEO Australia and New Zealand at Colliers International confirmed the acquisition will complement their existing retail management, capital transaction and project leasing capability.
The move follows recent acquisitions of specialty retail businesses in New Zealand and Western Australia, in addition to the acquisition of Briant Champion Long (BCL) in the UK earlier this year.
"By joining forces we can now provide better opportunities to both our clients and our team as we become part of a global enterprise,” said McKenzie Hall Executive Directors, Tony Draper and Dale McDermid.
Existing McKenzie Hall clients will continue to deal with the same team, but with the benefit of a broader range of services including capital transactions, valuations, consultancy and research both nationally and overseas.
