Developers Launch Bridgeman Downs' Largest New Estate

Developer Unison Projects has launched one of the largest new estates at Bridgeman Downs on Brisbane’s northside with works commencing on the $100 million ‘Highfields’ residential community.

Unison Projects’ Shannon Down said the 134 lot Highfields subdivision located at 1980 Roghan Road, Bridgeman Downs, has recently been approved by Brisbane City Council and civil works on the site have commenced.

Mr Down said the first stage of Highfields will include 39 level lots ranging in size from 400 square metres to 800 square metres adjacent to 1.5 hectare of parkland which has been preserved as greenspace.

“This is one of the largest new estates in Bridgeman Downs which is a proven area that does not have a great deal of new housing coming onto the market,” he said.

“Bridgeman Downs is a well-established and leafy suburb 13km from the Brisbane CBD. It is well connected by transport infrastructure and serviced by a high standard of amenities and close to major shopping centres such as Westfield Chermside.

“There is a strong demand for quality housing in this popular area and already we have had a high level of interest registered in Highfields, which will offer residents a significant portion of green space in keeping with the area’s character.”

Unison Projects purchased what is one of the last large scale residential development sites in Bridgeman Downs for $19 million in 2014.

“This is a rare infill parcel which is already surrounded by executive quality homes and could have been developed many years ago,” Mr Down said.

“Our plans for the gently sloping site will capitalise on its north-east orientation. The elevated parcel offers views of the Glass House Mountains and sea breezes from Moreton Bay.”

Unison Projects also has a strong presence on Brisbane’s fast growing northside with major residential projects on the Pine River in Griffin and at Albany Creek.
