Development Finance: Funding Your Next Project From A-Z

What will you learn?

Having a great project and the equity to commence construction is only the start.

As funding markets continue to tighten, sourcing project finance has continued to become more complex and difficult.

Understanding the changing environment is essential for all property developers - large and small.

In this workshop, you will understand the essential criteria that bank and non-bank lenders are seeking to be satisfied in the current market.

From pre-sale ratios, interest rates, establishment fees and line charges; to debt ratios, mezzanine structures and personal guarantees, this workshop will cover it all.

Learn from the experts:

  • Financing terms and conditions
  • Lending ratios for project types
  • Bank vs non-bank - what's the difference?
  • What is the appetite of offshore capital?
  • What is a funding table and how to leverage your project properly?
  • How are Australia’s leading private property developers are using corporate loan notes to gain an advantage?
  • Personal and corporate guarantees - what's the norm?
  • Alternate financing solutions
  • Benchmark interest rates, fees and charges
  • How to best present your project for financing?
  • Advanced credit enhancement techniques
  • Finance health check techniques
