According to Fabric Teneriffe's website, Brisbane’s young professionals would love to call Teneriffe home but there is a real shortage of the select, contemporary, amenity-rich residences they’re seeking.

Fabric was conceived to address this need: a development by Pointcorp 2.5 kilometres from Brisbane's CBD with 8 levels, 73 apartments, a boutique development big on stylish features and smart design.

FAST FACTS:

  • Building: Landmark 9 Storey Residential & Retail Developments in the heart of Teneriffe.
  • Product: 80 Apartments with a variety of 1,2 and 3 bedroom units
  • Space: Around 700 sqm of Retail offering
  • Architects: Cottee Parker
  • Developers: Pointcorp
  • Completion: Est 2018
  • Pricing: $472,500 - $1,140,000.00

Vision & Design

Designed with intention and crafted with skill, this purpose-built development takes its cues from near and far. Inspiration has come from the immediate surrounds – the patchwork of neighbouring woolstores and warehouses, and also the successful, sleek city loft conversions of NYC.

The glass and warm metal screen of the ground floor podium articulates the early 20th century industrial legacy of Teneriffe. This will house the two boutique venues, which in turn will elevate Fabric from a mere apartment block to an intrinsic part of the pattern of Teneriffe life.

The upper façade of the structure – comprising 73 apartments across 7 storeys – will be clean, dark and sophisticated, with its distinctive curved apex: a handsome expression of the overall design aesthetic.

The aesthetic of this building has been specifically formed to be distinctive, and yet folds naturally into the existing tapestry of its urban landscape.

Retail

The podium level will reportedly house a 'first rate' bar and restaurant - no details have been released.
