Frasers and Sekisui hit The Mark in Central Park

Frasers Property Australia, in joint venture with

Sekisui House, are finalising plans to launch the third residential stage in the $2 billion

Central Park development in Sydney's inner southern suburb of Chippendale.

Located on the site of the Old Kent Brewery site,

The Mark features a striking 27-storey

Johnson Pilton Walker-designed glass tower.

The 

Norman Foster-designed master plan features 11 buildings in total and over 2,000 apartments. It is expected to take between 8 and 10 years to complete.

The Mark is separated into two distinct sections known as Mark One and Mark Two.

Mark One, positioned between levels one and 19, features intelligently-designed one and two bedroom apartments oriented to take full advantage of panoramic city views.

The architects have provided up to 24 different internal colour combinations, enabled through four base schemes and six feature colour schemes.

Internal balconies, known as loggia, replace traditional outdoor areas and maximise living space.

Mark Two, rising from levels 20 through 27, offers bespoke two and three bedroom apartments.

Named after the design team at JPW, the colour schemes include 'Paul' (limestone floors and light oak timber veneer kitchens), 'Michael' (light oak floors and week oak timber veneer kitchens) or 'Kiong' (feature deep timber floors, an orange kitchen and green accented bathrooms).

The tower offers residents a private recreation zone featuring spa, BBQ and terraced lawns known as 'The Deck', a wireless reading room known as 'The Lounge Room', a tree-lined pocket park and a 24-hour concierge service aptly named 'Mark'.

The Mark will follow the success of the first two residential stages, One Central Park - the Arteliers Jean Nouvel-designed development of over 600 apartments, and the JPW-designed low-rise Park Lane.

Both developments are under construction and expected to complete in 2013.
