Greaton Appoints Builder For Landmark Sydney Project


Greaton has appointed Sydney builder Ceerose to build its landmark $260 million Oxford Central project in Epping.

Approximately 1900 workers will be employed during the construction phase which could run for two years or more.

Situated at 30 - 42 Oxford Street, Oxford Central comprises 252 luxurious apartments spread across two 17 storey towers, 292 car spaces and 625 square metres of retail on the ground level. A two storey heritage building located on the site will also be retained and is part of the retail precinct.


Greaton Managing Director Nicho Teng said Oxford Central is Greaton’s first residential development in Sydney.

“Ceerose has an impressive track record as a builder and developer of quality residential apartments," he said.

"They understand the importance of developing high quality projects, which is a perfect fit for Greaton.

“The Oxford Central site was earmarked due to its strategic location in the epicentre of the state government’s plans to invest millions in re-developing Epping Town Centre and major transport infrastructure in the suburb.

"Epping Town Centre and train station are approximately 150 metres from Oxford Central. The area is one of Sydney’s most liveable and well connected regions.

“Epping has excellent rail, road and bus networks to many major shopping precincts, universities and employment hubs including Macquarie Park, Macquarie Shopping Centre, Macquarie University, Chatswood CBD, St Leonards, North Sydney and the Sydney CBD. Epping train station will also link with the future North West line to the North Shore and Northern train lines," Mr Teng said.

Over 75 per cent of Oxford Central’s apartments are two and three bedrooms with a significant number boasting panoramic views across the city skyline and Epping.

An open air café area and public plaza will feature alongside the Heritage building which fronts the development and will be accessible to the public. Residents will also enjoy large areas of communal open space on the ground level which include recreational and BBQ facilities.

Early works is expected to start in April and completion is anticipated for early 2019.
