Green is the new black for HAUS in Collingwood

Buyers seeking an urban oasis in apartment living will be spoiled with the launch of a new residential development in Melbourne’s vibrant Collingwood.

HAUS will have 80 apartments over eight levels and will be located at 416 Smith Street, the heart of Collingwood’s eclectic community and just footsteps away from its array of dining and retail outlets. Residents will also be able to escape the hustle and bustle of the city in the development’s communal garden retreat.

Angelo Property Group has partnered with renowned landscape designer Jack Merlo and award-winning architect Kennedy Nolan to design a living environment that focuses on creating harmony between planting and architecture.

Inspired by the Bauhaus twentieth century design movement, HAUS captures the bohemian heartbeat of Collingwood through a design that blends culture with contemporary living.

According to Angelo Property Group director Ange Angelo, the launch of HAUS will spark an inner-city renaissance where cosmopolitan and independent lifestyles meet. “First home buyers today are after convenience and access to the city.

HAUS addresses the necessities of modern inner-city living without compromising the build quality or design integrity,” said Mr Angelo.

“Our mantra is to create living spaces that invite the outdoors in and HAUS is no exception as each apartment will have access to its own garden terrace,” added Mr Angelo.

All apartments are designed to attain a perfect harmony between character and style and will feature hexagonal wall tiles, SMEG coloured ovens, stainless steel bench tops and stone floors.

Light and air are invited into all living areas, while gardens on all levels provide a calming green presence to circulate fresh air throughout the home.

The development will also incorporate retail tenancies, a fashionable café and flexible office spaces all generously serviced by two levels of basement parking and storage.

“My family has been developing in the inner-city for 40 years and we’ve seen suburbs such as Richmond and Fitzroy evolve into the thriving communities they are today. We’re now noticing the same transformation really start to take off in Collingwood with new cafes, bars and shops opening every week,” said Mr Angelo.

One bedroom apartments from $435,000 to $485,000, two bedroom apartments from $530,000 to $650,000.

Apartments are now available for purchase off the plan with construction is expected to start in October 2013. Completion is scheduled for October 2014.
