The 19th Century Lever Brothers Factory building in Balmain is earmarked to become 25 opulent residences, following the sales launch of 100 Balmain by Sydney-based property developer, Wentworth Equities.

Executive Chairman Sameh Ibrahim said the $50 million plus revitalisation of the heritage icon - located at 100 Reynolds Street, Balmain - offered a rare opportunity for discerning buyers to secure an elegant lifestyle in one of Sydney's most stylish suburbs.

Mr Ibrahim said Wentworth Equities worked with multi-award winning architect, Custance, to bring new life to the federation-style Lever Brothers Factory, while preserving the architectural facade to restore the local icon and celebrate Balmain's rich character.

"100 Balmain was crafted by a team of world-renowned interior and exterior design consultants, inspired by the rich local character and largely influenced by the essence of European design," he said.
