Six Award-Winning Sales Galleries Showcase DisplaySweet Impact

If 2024 has shown us anything, it’s that Australia’s off-the-plan market is a competitive space to operate in as a developer. Every marketing dollar needs to be spent wisely and you can’t fall down at the most important stage of the sale, the presentation, or all that work in attracting prospective purchasers is for nothing.

DisplaySweet, the world’s leading presentation app and showroom technology for new developments, has been quietly revolutionising the real estate market in Australia, across apartments, house and land, townhouse and commercial projects of all sizes and budgets.

DisplaySweet’s platform empowers agents to provide engaging presentations that help developers sell and lease new developments faster, for premium prices, and look good whilst doing it.

DisplaySweet focuses on enhancing new development sales and leasing by achieving three outcomes:

First, their platform elevates your project’s brand and results through exceptional customer experiences, both in-person and remotely.

Second, it accelerates sales and leasing by expanding reach, boosting website conversions, and enabling data-driven decisions.

Third, it improves operational efficiency by streamlining management, saving time and money, allowing agents to focus on closing deals and driving growth.

In fact, 15 of our client’s projects in the past four years have all been winners and/or finalists in industry marketing award categories. Their innovative proptech is leading the way in project marketing, so let’s take a look at some of DisplaySweet’s award-winning projects.

West Village by Blackburne Karrinyup

West Village by Blackburne

Winner of the 2024 UDIA WA Awards for Excellence in Marketing

Positioned in the heart of the Karrinyup, West Village presents a combination of natural tranquillity and tailored modernity. A collection of luxury residences across two unique buildings, adorned with resort-style amenities, West Village boasts panoramic ocean views over North Beach and Trigg.

Due to the scale of this project, Blackburne looked to simplify the sales of the second stage of this mega development—the first being East Village—that they had built as part of a $800-million redevelopment of the Karrinyup shopping centre. This meant the showroom had to be eye-catching and impress buyers who may be fatigued or been holding off on purchasing.

West Village sought to not only inform but also captivate potential customers, requiring tools that could offer an immersive view of the community's future.  The Display Presenter, and App to TV integration allowed potential buyers to search by level by simply hovering over the building image, as well as look at CGI’s, views, location maps and videos on the creators of the development.

Norwest Quarter by Mulpha

Norwest Quarter by Mulpha

Winner of the 2024 UDIA NSW Awards for Excellence in Marketing

Norwest Quarter’s nine unique towers showcase cutting-edge architectural design, which will be built in contrasting heights and shapes, which boast scenic landscaping and impressive amenities.

The challenge for Mulpha was that they wanted a better way to present the fact that Norwest offers residents so much more than just being a business park, and that it can be an affordable place to both live and work. A way of doing this was by utilising the Display Masterplan to showcase what amenities are nearby and what’s to come in the area, such as future schools and a Metro line.

The Norwest Quarter showroom made great use of DisplaySweet’s technology, and as you walk into the display, buyers are met with an impressive open-plan area where they can watch the brand film on two TVs near the Display LED Wall, on which they can view sales aids such as full-scale floor plans.

The showroom also included the Display Presenter app that was integrated with their impressive architectural model, where buyers could compare floor plans and plates that lit up on the model in front of them, as well as view CGIs for apartments across both buildings, and see views from all levels. The impressive Display Touch Screen was a great way of showing buyers all the nearby amenities on offer like education and shopping.

“Upgrading our sales and experience centre from traditional printed collateral and signage to a tech-led fit out was a no-brainer,” said Lisa Smith, marketing and customer experience manager at Mulpha International.

“Not only does it give us the ease and flexibility to update content without incurring unavoidable print costs, it also projects a more forward-thinking impression to our customers which leaves them feeling better informed about our projects and product and confident to continue the sales process.”

Sekisui House West Village

West Village by Sekisui House

Winner of the 2023 UDIA National Awards for Excellence in Marketing

Winner of the 2022 UDIA QLD Awards for Excellence in Marketing

Sekisui House, having built more than 2.6 million homes globally, has taken home awards at both a state and national level for their Brisbane development, West Village. This unique community features 1250 apartments across seven buildings and 18,500sq m of retail, commercial and hospitality space, creating a dynamic hub for living, working, and entertainment.

To match the high-calibre vision for West Village, Sekisui House incorporated DisplaySweet’s cutting-edge technology into their sales gallery, which included a Display TV Wall to showcase the development’s features, such as floorplans, renders and community highlights, all accessible through the app. Customised to Sekisui House’s sales process, the app significantly streamlined buyer interactions.

Sekisui House utilised DisplaySweet's Display Presenter app to offer an immersive, interactive journey through the development, allowing buyers to explore every aspect of the project easily.

Managing information across 1250 apartments and extensive commercial spaces was simplified by DisplaySweet’s Avance search settings across multiple asset classes—both residential and commercial—and its integration with Property Base. This ensured real-time updates on property data and allowed agents to instantly share content during appointments, improving efficiency.

Yarrabillba by Lendlease

Winner of the 2023 UDIA QLD Awards for Excellence in Marketing

Lendlease’s Yarrabilba project is a leading example for masterplanned communities, offering a vast selection of lots and stages. Lendlease collaborated with DisplaySweet to transform how their properties were showcased to customers, needing an experience that was immersive, informative and seamlessly up-to-date.

The development received recognition for its marketing at the 2023 UDIA Queensland Awards for Excellence, showcasing the effectiveness of their showroom in engaging potential buyers. Due to the scale of this project, Lendlease looked to simplify complex community details to make it easy for customers to find relevant property options.

DisplaySweet addressed these needs with the Display Presenter app, providing an intuitive platform to explore the community’s masterplan, amenities and local area. The interactive maps within Display Presenter further enabled a personalised exploration experience, allowing users to delve into specifics from a broad overview down to individual lot details.

Mirvac's The Eastbourne

The Eastbourne by Mirvac

Winner of the 2020 UDIA VIC Awards for Excellence in Marketing

For Mirvac’s luxury East Melbourne apartment development, a world-class sales experience was required to meet the discerning needs of an experienced buyer and investor demographic. It was imperative that the look, feel and functionality of the display resembled the quality of a luxury residence not that of a traditional sales suite.

DisplaySweet worked with BatesSmart and Inscale Models to redefine the model, to create the feeling of an organic and interactive sculpture while all presentations took place in a natural setting with the agents driving presentations via the Display Presenter App on iPads onto a Display TV.

The display experience transformed for the launch weekend, with Display TVs becoming live sales boards as agents sat with buyers using the App, to finalise the sale of more than $300 million of apartments in the one weekend.

Louise by Samuel Property

Louise by Samuel Property

Winner of the 2023 The Urban Developer Awards for Industry Excellence in Marketing

Louise by Samuel Property is a collection of new 1, 2, 3 and 4-bedroom residences overlooking Albert Park Lake in Melbourne.

Designed by Cera Stribley, Louise evokes a sense of place, a tower inspired by its surrounding heritage and contemporary buildings. Its biophilic design brings residents a place that considers the wellbeing of its occupants and visitors.

The challenge for Samuel Property was that the showroom space was in the heart of a busy area, and as such there was not a large amount of room for a full display apartment or model. To combat this, the team cleverly utilised DisplaySweet’s technology in lieu of a physical architectural model, which would have required a large amount of space, and they also included a coffee shop at the front, so the space was multi-functional.

The Louise showroom made well-thought-out use of the Display Presenter app to TV integration, including using a 3D-building to where buyers could browse the architectural model, highlight amenities, view prices, layouts and the interactive location map. Buyers could also watch the project video on several display TVs, giving the showroom great appeal from the street with a double-sided TV.

DisplaySweet’s co-chief executive, John Paige, who recently won The Urban Developer’s Inaugural Urban Leader Awards—PropTech category, is confident in their award-winning solutions. “Our platform elevates your project’s brand, speeds up sales and streamlines operations, helping you achieve higher prices, close deals faster and save time,” he said.
