The last remaining block of land in Upper Coomera Industrial Estate which spans 1.469 hectares has been placed on the market. The hotly contested site is likely to attract strong interest from the local business due to the lack of large industrial sites on the Gold Coast.
The 10 hectare industrial precinct, Upper Coomera Industrial Estate, which developed in 2006 by Diamond Head Holdings Pty Ltd, is now selling the last lot available.
The site which is located at 6 Sierra Place is Low Impact Industry zoned land.
Daniel Coburn and Pat Cavanagh of Colliers International are marketing the site via expressions of interest campaign closing 10th December.
Mr Coburn said this site will be hotly contested as it is ideally positioned offering great exposure to the M1 Motorway.
“With only a few large industrial land sites remaining for sale on the Gold Coast, we see this opportunity meeting the demand of owner occupiers, developers and land bankers who are currently in the market seeking available sites for development,” Mr Coburn said.
"The Brisbane and Gold Coast corridor has experienced a lot of investor and developer activity due to its prominent exposure to M1 and ease of access to both cities.
“Some of the properties recently transacted in the area by Colliers International include the 7 hectare commercial development on Lahrs Road in Ormeau which sold under the hammer for $8.325 million to Zupp Property Group.
“We had another successful auction selling the 3.917 hectare industrial site at 13 Rotary Park Road in Stapylton for $1.925 million. And in the last two years AHC has sold in the excess of $11 million worth of land parcels to business owner occupiers in its 3 hectare Helensvale precinct.”
The Upper Coomera industrial precinct is home to a number of major local and national businesses and their headquarters including Nutrition Warehouse, Free Choice, H Harvey Prestige and Coolabah Tree.
