The final three penthouses at Sydney’s landmark Lumiere Residences development have been sold for a combined $18 million.
All three sales, which were negotiated by real estate group Greencliff, were made to residents who already lived in or owned an apartment within the building.
The award-winning, 56-storey building, designed by the United Kingdom’s acclaimed Foster + Partners, was completed in 2008. Lumiere offers residents state-of-the-art fitness and leisure facilities, including a 50-metre indoor/outdoor swimming pool, a 24-hour Concierge and a variety of shopping options that can all be accessed without leaving the building.
Lumiere’s last tri-level penthouses were sold as completed apartments. Each immaculately designed penthouse features three spacious levels, each capped with an extraordinary glass rooftop offering panoramic views of the harbour city.
Greencliff Sales Director, David Butt, said he wasn’t surprised by the excellent response from Lumiere’s residents given the enviable lifestyle and prime central location the building has to offer.
“Pitched as Australia’s first vertical village, Lumiere Residences is one of the city’s premier residential buildings for luxury living located right in the heart of Sydney’s prestigious mid-town precinct,” Mr Butt said.
Lumiere Residences, the residential component of Frasers Property’s mixed use Regent Place development, won the Property Council of Australia’s Award for Innovation and Excellence 2009 in the Mixed Use category.
