Plans have been filed for luxury double-storey apartments at Mona Vale in Sydney’s Northern Beaches.
The residential development at 32 Golf Avenue would comprise two building pavilions with six apartments over two levels.
Existing townhouses on the site 28km north of Sydney CBD would be demolished to make way for the project.
There wuld also be basement car parking for 14 vehicles, accessed via a driveway from Golf Avenue.
The development application says it would “provide a diversity in housing choice” on a site suited to medium-density housing and close to the Mona Vale town centre.
Walsh Architects have designed the plans for LAXDTX 2, whose listed directors are developers Darren Holland, Luxas Laxale and Tuan Anh Duong.
The development application submitted to the Northern Beaches Council says that Walsh has designed a “contextually responsive building of exceptional quality, which takes advantage of the sites superior locational attributes while providing high levels of amenity for future occupants”.
High-end apartments have cropped up in many of Sydney’s Eastern suburbs as developers work to get projects to stack up, with plans filed this year for new luxury apartment blocks in Rose Bay and Newport.
