Malaysian property developers UEM Sunrise Berhad are set to launch their $330 million "Mayfair" development at 412 St Kilda Road in Melbourne, with an emphasis on delivering high-end luxury.
Mayfair will feature 158 residences ranging from one to five bedrooms, in sizes from 70 square metres to 556 square metres at a price starting from $823,000.
Residents will be offered private lift lobbies and garages, 24-hour concierge service and custom-designed signature Zaha Hadid pieces within their apartments.
The Mayfair will be UEM Sunrise’s third project in Australia, following the Aurora Melbourne Central and Conservatory.
“We wanted to create a landmark that is equally innovative and spectacular to its predecessors, if not more,” UEM Sunrise managing D=director Anwar Syahrin Abdul Ajib said.
“We are extremely excited to launch Mayfair with internationally acclaimed Zaha Hadid Architects and Australian-based architecture practice, Elenberg Fraser.”
According Zaha Hadid Architects principal and director Patrik Schumacher, the Australian landscape’s fluid geometry inspired the building’s sculpted façade, and is carried right through to the interiors.
Kay & Burton Real Estate Director Peter Kudelka the location on St Kilda Road is another drawcard for buyers looking to make the move from established inner-city suburbs.
“Buyers looking for a complete lifestyle change for their encore years want nothing but the best – they want to walk to the theatre precinct, pop into the city for work or go shopping, and spend their leisure time at the nearby gardens and golf courses.”
The Mayfair is set to kick off sales later this month.
