Wyndham Vale’s Jubilee development has moved one step closer to opening the country’s first ever private indoor water park.
Th City of Wyndham Council recently approved Lotus Living's first residents-only recreation centre at Jubilee.
Jubilee’s multi-million-dollar water park is set to feature a leisure pool, lap pool, waterslides, and a special interactive splash-zone area for kids of all ages.
Lotus Living Project Director Daniel Smith said the water park was the first of many proposed resident-only clubs to be featured throughout Jubilee.
“What we are building for future residents is very special. This concept is an industry first and we want to continue to create a more unique community for our future residents," he said.
“Jubilee’s water park will cater for all ages; our special splash zone will let kids and non-swimmers cool off in an interactive fun zone with water sprays, spurts and water cannons; and a lap pool and water slides ensure there will truly be something for everyone.
“In designing and creating the water park, we want to give our future residents a place they can enjoy with their kids, grandkids and generations to come. These incredible features will ensure the Jubilee community is a healthy, happy and enjoyable place to live."With over 20,000 residents expected to call Jubilee home over the next 15 years, Lotus Living will also develop a 5.4ha Town Centre including 8,000sqm of retail and commercial space, as well as a 1.8ha Neighbourhood Centre, Child Care Centre and 77ha of parklands, playing fields and expansive green open spaces in order to service the growing population.
The Water park will now go out to construction tender with works slated to commence on the facility later this year.
