Mirvac continues to dominate residential communities

A

The 2014 final release of 18 three-storey terrace homes at Mirvac’s Enclave residential community was a resounding success and brought the total number of terrace homes in the community to 130.

The three stage development project has changed the density of the north-west Melbourne suburb.

The premium tri-level terrace homes start at $745, 000, with 96 percent of the available homes and land sold within 48 hours of launch.

Mirvac Group Executive Residential John Carfi

, said terrace living had long been popular in inner city suburbs but Enclave was one of the first suburban communities where it had been tested.

“We realised this style of home would have a definite appeal to young families, couples and empty nesters moving into the area who are attracted to a more contemporary low maintenance terrace living experience.

“Not only do residents benefit from the unique multi-level living layout, the height of the homes maximise spectacular park, golf course and city views.

“It was a big decision to change the traditional housing mix in such an established suburb, but it has been a major part of Enclave’s success.” Mr Carfi said.

Launched in April 2013, Enclave’s mix of Mirvac designed homes, land allotments and townhouses have been released across three stages with each stage achieving a minimum 80 per cent sales rate in the first 48 hours.

A joint venture partnership between Mirvac and Gresham, Enclave will comprise over 220 dwellings when completed in late 2016.
