Mirvac To Commence Construction On Stage 2 Hope Street

1

Leading property developer Mirvac has confirmed construction is set to commence on the second stage 2 of its Hope Street development in South Brisbane, following the commencement of construction of the first stage Art House last year.

‘Lucid’ boasts a selection of one and two bedroom apartments and a three bedroom penthouse, and will feature a 30 storey high, top-level recreation deck with infinity edge pool, Sky Dining Room with penthouse-style kitchen, lounge-style seating areas and outdoor BBQ facilities, creating a luxurious urban oasis and true lifestyle destination in the heart of the CBD.

Mirvac’s Head of Residential, John Carfi, said that following the tremendous success of Art House, Mirvac released the second stage of the project to select Mirvac VIP clients towards the end of 2015.

“We’re pleased to announce that as of last week, 96% of the 167 lots in Lucid are currently under offer, with a limited number of one bedroom apartments remaining for sale to the general public,” he said.

“We anticipate these remaining lots will be snapped up quickly, as Lucid reflects the considered design and functionality of Art House which has proven so successful with buyers.

“The development’s prime position has been further amplified by the architectural team with the inclusion of floor-to-ceiling windows and artfully integrated balconies which afford picturesque views of the cityscape across the Brisbane River. Both Art House and Lucid together mean that Mirvac has over 350 apartments under construction in this emerging lifestyle precinct.

“Located just 850 metres from the Brisbane CBD and in close proximity to the upcoming Queen’s Wharf Development, it’s no surprise that we have had such a strong response to both projects,” he said.

Mr Carfi went on to say that Lucid’s success was testament to Mirvac’s quality residential offerings.

“Demand for high quality stock by strong development brands in great Brisbane locations remains strong, providing a positive indication for Lucid, as well as future Mirvac projects including the eagerly anticipated Ascot Green development alongside the historic Eagle Farm racecourse which we expect to launch in the coming months,” he said.

Limited opportunities remain to purchase an apartment in Lucid with one bedroom apartments with a carpark starting from $418,000.

Construction on Lucid is expected to start in May 2016.
