The State Government and Moreton Bay Regional Council have identified Morayfield as a key focus for land and infrastructure development.
Caboolture-Morayfield is one of only three Principal Activity Centres North of the Brisbane CBD and it presents a prime opportunity for property developers ready to cash in on growth demand.
Paul Liddy of Ray White East Brisbane, is handling one of these major growth projects, a 20,000 square metre proposed development site in the heart of Morayfield.
“Preliminary concepts delivered to Moreton Bay Regional Council outline a long overdue 2,500 square metre mixed commercial and retail development, with up to 100 residential opportunities and remaining land allocated for future expansion,” Mr Liddy said.
The property (for sale by public tender with offers closing at 4pm on February 26) is 40 kilometres from the Brisbane CBD and 2.8 kilometres from the Morayfield Railway Station.
Due to the growth within the region and the ideal location of the site, Ray White is confident the site will move quickly into the hands of a developer.
“Projects like this show that the Moreton Bay region is experiencing impressive population growth, with expectations the development trend will continue south to Narangba and north beyond Caboolture …“Morayfield offers great schools and transportation infrastructure and is a key development area for State and Local Government; this is an excellent opportunity for a developer.”
