New Generation Vibe Darling Harbour To Enter Sydney Western Corridor

Room-2_620x380

TFE Hotels is set to unveil its New Generation Vibe label on its newest Sydney CBD hotel.

The 4½ star lifestyle hotel will feature a WMK design and New York theme styling to its 145 rooms and suites.

The hotel will feature a bespoke all-day dining restaurant, fully equipped modern gymnasium, a world class roof top bar with infinity edge pool and an urban styled grand façade entry.

The rooms are set to feature an array of lifestyle amenities with a New York inspired design including curved rainfall showers, embedded window day lounges and retro bathroom fixtures.

WMK have been selected as the winning architect in addition to being selected as interior designer.

Colliers International's Raymond Tran and Christopher Milou led the selection process for 319 - 325 Sussex Street on behalf of Icon Oceania, a local residential developer.

“Vibe Darling Harbour will be a well-timed addition to the market. Sydney’s hotel market will be stretched to capacity and with a number of large marquee conferences slated, as many as 10,000 delegates at any one time will descend on the city,” Mr Tran said.

Icon Oceania, a Sydney-based property developer, heads up the Vibe Sydney Darling Harbour development with its joint venture partners, Aura Funds.

The Vibe Sydney Darling Harbour will capitalise on its proximity to Darling Harbour and ICC (International Convention Centre) and will be a much welcome boost to supply in the Sydney CBD.

The standout feature of the new 4½ star hotel will be its rooftop bar and infinity edge pool, which will feature views over the new Darling Harbour precinct and CBD skyline.

Icon Oceania Director Nico Tjen said the unprecedented number of inbound arrivals into Sydney in particular with the Chinese, coupled with the timely completion of the CBD light rail network, ICC, Darling Live and the Barangaroo district will have a positive impact on the new hotel.

The development site fringes on the upper end of Chinatown and is a neighbour to the Darling Quarter. The rooftop bar and eclectic laneway dining area should bode well and add much needed liveliness to the area, as the already emerging dining scene in the precinct gradually encroaches closer and closer towards the corporate end of Sydney.

According to TFE Hotels CEO Rachel Argaman, the Vibe Hotels brand will soon have three exciting contemporary new additions at Darling Harbour, in North Sydney and in central Hobart.

“Typical of each new Vibe Hotel, guests of the new Vibe Hotel Sydney Darling Harbour can look forward to inviting shared spaces boasting design features that inspire creativity as well as flexible, connected work spaces throughout the building.

"There will also be a dedicated array of lifestyle features including Vibe Fit’s nutritious food menu, an in-room yoga channel and helpful Vibe Hosts ready with suggestions for exploring the surrounding area.”

The hotel is expected to open in 2019.
