Work Poised to Begin on $145m Norwest Towers

Norwest residential complex

Work on a four-building development in Norwest is poised to get under way after a construction certificate was granted.

The towers in the $145-million development, will vary from six to 25 storeys plus four levels of basement parking, will comprise 290 apartments.

The units will be a mix of one, two and three bedrooms, with more than 50 per cent to be two-bedroom apartments.

Plans for the site, at 7-8 Maitland Place, were submitted to The Hills Shire in 2017 by 7 Maitland Pty Ltd.

The company is a wholly-owned vehicle of Cyan Stone Pty Ltd, which is jointly owned by Hong Kong Jiayuan Investment Ltd and Citron Investment.

Sydney Central City Planning Panel approved the plans in 2019.

Norwest is 35km north-west of the Sydney CBD. The site is close to the Norwest town centre, adjoining a street link to Spurway drive, which became a public road as part of Seksui House’s The Orchards development.

There is also an approved commercial building next door, Infinity Commercial, early works for which were begun late last year, as part of a project by the Haitchin Group.
