After unprecedented demand in the lead up to its sales launch, 98 per cent of the luxury one, two and three-bedroom apartments at Ovo were snapped up over two full days of appointments.
Ovo is the third residential release from Urban NSW and Mirvac within the past 6 months at Green Square, and was fast tracked to market following the success of Ebsworth and No. 8 Ebsworth.
In total, 221 of the 224 apartments were sold, and the three remaining three-bedroom apartments are expected to sell imminently.
Ovo will be a landmark building at the northern end of Green Square, bringing a powerful sense of identity to the new Town Centre. Designed by internationally-renowned architect Richard Francis-Jones, the 28-storey building will be Green Square Town Centre's tallest tower and features a distinctive ellipsoid-shaped design to maximise views of the city skyline.
The first sale was made shortly after 7am on Saturday 18 April. An unprecedented number of buyers paid $5,000 deposit to secure an appointment at the VIP launch for the chance to purchase in Ovo. The allocated appointments with Mirvac sales team ensure every buyer has the time to make well-informed decisions and enjoy the experience of buying a property at Green Square Town Centre.
Green Square Town Centre is one of Australia’s most significant urban transformation projects. Spanning 287 hectares, the precinct will see over $8 billion worth of investment over the next ten years to deliver a new global village for Sydney, including approximately 2,000 apartments.
Ovo comprises six open-plan one-bedroom apartments, 46 one-bedroom apartments, 152 two-bedroom apartments, and 20 three-bedroom apartments. It is located at the northern end of Green Square Town Centre, within close proximity to Green Square Train Station.
Construction of Green Square Town Centre’s first building, Ebsworth, is already underway, and construction at Ovo is due to commence later this year, with expected completion by early 2018.
