Runway To Launch Cloud Collaboration Tool For Developers And Home Builders

p

Melbourne-based software company,

Runway, is launching a B2B portal service for developers, builders, project marketers and sales agents to collaborate in creating house and land packages and selling properties.

Pipeline has arisen directly from customer feedback and demand. Currently, property data such as documents, images, logos, plans and PDFs are manually compiled and emailed between property partners on a weekly basis. It’s a thankless procedure that is time consuming and lends itself to error and miscommunication.

“Emailing property and marketing assets just creates multiple versions of out-of-date data, which requires multiple data entry points that magnifies the possibility of errors,” said Rowan Kelly, product development manager at Runway. “With Pipeline, both partners have access to one version of the truth. So property lists, data, images, plans and documents are always up-to-date.”

At the heart of Pipeline is the Pipeline Property Sharing Agreement.

This is a simple online agreement between property partners that controls the functionality that both parties agree each should have, such as the ability to place a property on hold or create house and land packages. Companies can invite other companies to be partners which is then formalised by the Pipeline Property Sharing Agreement.

Rowan Kelly said, “The agreement really only solidifies what property partners do in the real world. Pipeline also allows Partners to upload their own specific Ts &Cs.”

Once the agreement is cemented, properties and related marketing assets can be securely published to the partnering company, from an entire project down to individual properties. And developers and project marketers can publish to multiple partners simultaneously with one click.

“Instead of generating and emailing property lists each week, developers can simply select which partners they wish to partner with, and the home builder or sales agent has instant access to the properties on Pipeline,” Mr Kelly said.

Pipeline comes with preconfigured Runway connectivity, so active apartments and lots in Runway are automatically available for publishing in Pipeline.
