It has been revealed that Malaysian-based developer UEM Sunrise has named Probuild to deliver Melbourne's tallest residential tower to date, Aurora Melbourne Central.

Located in the heart of the CBD opposite Melbourne Central, the development will rise 92-levels comprising of 941 luxury apartments with over 1000 spaces for car, bike and motorcycles.

Aurora will also house 3,097-square metres of retail space, 3,848-square metres of office space, as well as providing direct access to Melbourne's underground rail loop via Melbourne Central railway station.

Group Managing Director Simon Gray said the project marked another significant milestone for Probuild, who have already secured a number of mixed-use and residential developments in Melbourne's CBD or city fringe in the last few months.

"Aurora Melbourne Central presents an exiting opportunity for Probuild to construct an iconic building that will become an instantly recognisable feature of the Melbourne skyline," Mr Gray said"We're looking forward to bringing UEM Sunrise's vision for the project to life in a bustling part of a progressive city."
