Rosebery Park, the sprawling 3.2-ha site where the TV series, The Renovators, was filmed is undergoing its own renovation.
Developed by Sydney property icon Robert Magid’s company TMG,
Rosebery Park will comprise five residential apartment buildings totalling 550 apartments.
Genesis is the first stage of the development set on Dalmeny Avenue, off Epson Road.
The apartment complex, ideally located in Sydney’s inner south, is comprised of two interlinked, six and eight level buildings and includes 105 studio, one, two and three-bedroom apartments.
Designed by architectural firm,
Bates Smart, along with
PTW, each structure of the building is visually complimentary with strong grid lines, blade walls and sculpted metal roofs. Bold colours highlight the layered façade of the development.
Interiors are designed by
SJB Interiors to provide a warm and inviting feel and include granite and marble finishes. Genesis apartments are characterized by open-plan living spaces, substantial balcony space and leafy gardens.
40-sqm studio apartments start from $340,000, and the one-bedroom-plus study apartment start from $565,000 and are up to 59-sqm.
Two-bedroom apartments start from $570,000 and are up to 96-sqm.
The two-bedroom courtyard apartments provide the interior with a connection to the outdoors, and start from $640,000.
The three-bedroom apartments range in size up to 116 square metres and begin at $785,000.
Genesis places a lot of emphasis on providing peaceful sanctuaries with grassed zones, shade trees and landscaped gardens.
Almost one-third of Rosebery Park will be devoted to parklands and recreational activities. Facilities include a 25-metre swimming pool, basketball court, jogging track and a children’s play equipment. Entertainment and barbecue facilities are also available.
Rosebery Park is located six kilometres from Sydney’s CBD, and, given its location, is set to appeal to owner-occupiers and investors. Its close proximity to large-scale employers along with various educational institutes will attract professionals and families alike.
According to Caroline Fagerlund, a Director of
CBRE Residential Projects, who are marketing the project, “Most things you want are within walking distance, including restaurants, theatres, boutiques, galleries, and shopping facilities.”
The site is only 400 metres from the entrance to the Eastern Distributor which provides direct links to Sydney’s CBD, the Eastern Suburbs and the North Shore. Furthermore, Green Square Railway Station is within walking distance, and Sydney Airport is a short drive away.
“Rosebery is close to many of Sydney’s best recreational attractions, such as our sporting stadiums, top golf courses, Randwick Racecourse, and our world famous beaches, including Bondi, Bronte and Coogee,,” says Ms. Fagerlund.
Construction of Genesis is scheduled to be completed by early-2014.
