Gold Coast-based developer Raptis has filed plans for yet another local project, a 41-storey tower at Broadbeach.
The tower is planned for a 1821sq m site at 42-46 Chelsea Avenue that Raptis bought for $6.5 million through the GV Property Group in 2021.
The Archidiom-designed plans comprise 180 apartments with five apartments per floor made up of 144 three- and 36 two-bedroom apartments.
The tower will have a 1406sq m podium with 838sq m of space in the tower itself and 860sq m of communal open space.
The plans also include a gym, sauna, pool, residents’ lounge, dining area and gardens on the recreational level on the fourth storey.
The tower adds to Raptis presence in Broadbeach with its latest apartment tower, The Sterling Broadbeach at 6-8 George Avenue now under construction.
The 40-storey Koichi Takada-designed project will have 64 two-bedroom apartments, 64 three-bedroom apartments, four sub-penthouses and two penthouse apartments with amenities on the third level.
The Pearl Main Beach tower on Tedder Avenue and the recently completed and sold out The Gallery Residences Tower are also part of Raptis’ Broadbeach portfolio.
Broadbeach is one of the Gold Coast's hot spots with a slew of projects under way or planned.
Morris Property Group will build its eighth residential tower in the suburb, at 13-15 Armrick Avenuem with 38 storeys on the 1300sq m site.
Macquarie Developments Group has been granted permission to increase the height of its 2016-approved residential tower from 41 storeys to 52 storeys.
The $250-million Assana tower is planned for 15 Rosewood Avenue.
