Construction has commenced on one of Richmond most successful new developments, Supply Co.
Following a sales campaign which saw more than 80 per cent of the 129 apartments sold, Supply Co. construction by appointed builder Hamilton Marino will take place on Richmond's David Street, and include a mix of one, two and three bedroom floorplans.
Inspired by classic New York and European style apartment living, Supply Co. apartments will be built spacious and open, and were designed to complement modern, busy lifestyles.
The interior designs are clean, smart and functional, with European appliances and high quality fittings. There is also secure basement parking for each apartment.
Beller Project Marketing Director Heath Thompson said the apartments have been extremely popular among owner-occupiers looking for functional and well-considered layouts.
“In a market that has been swamped with investor style apartments this approach has been welcomed by the market place – that’s why we are calling Supply Co, Richmond’s family building and one of the most successful new projects in the precinct.
“We’re seeing buyers becoming increasingly discerning, as a successful development that is currently under construction Supply Co. provides an ideal example of the type of product the market is demanding.”
Supply Co. was designed by Peddle Thorp, with Forza Capital behind the wheel as the project's developers.
Mr Thompson said Supply Co. will offer stamp duty savings to all owner-occupier buyers, who not only get to save on stamp duty but also five per cent deposits.
He said the offer was a way to make the apartments attainable for first home buyers, who may be beaten by investors keen to jump on the tax dodge before it ends.
“Investors have an increased appetite to purchase prior to 30th June, and there is the possibility that first-home buyers may actually miss out because they think ‘we’ll wait’.”
Supply Co. is scheduled for completion in August 2018.
