Samford Skies has released the third stage of its UDIA award-winning subdivision with strong interest.
Located in the Queensland suburb of Samford, the 86 hectare subdivision comprised of 84 lots with an average size of 6,000sqm, won Best Small Residential Subdivision at the 2011 UDIA state awards.
Demand for blocks has been strong with 80% of stage 2 being sold before it had even finished construction and stage 3 expected to be 50% sold by Easter.
The third release comprises 12 allotments, with blocks ranging from 1.5 to 5 acres, and priced from $449 500.
Development Manager, Darren Jonsson, describes the award-winning development as a premium offering in Samford.
The Estate Sales Manager, Bruce Jensen, has found that interest has come from a variety of buyers with strong interest from overseas buyers, families and retirees, with many coming from surrounding suburbs and Samford itself.
Samford Skies has introduced an environmentally sustainable aspect into the subdivision, working closely with the
Saunders Havill Group to form environmental evaluation plans for best possible aspect.
Wildlife corridors have been formed with revegetation and rehabilitation of existing areas having been conducted.
By the time the development is finished, 96 000 native tress will have been planted, allowing wildlife to prosper in these areas and for water runoff to be filtered and returned to the nearby South Pine river with little impact.
Completion of Samford Skies is expected in 2016.
