Shortlist Revealed: The Urban Developer Awards 2019

d79fd973-94c2-47d2-8a1d-8fbe27cbddfb

The Urban Developer is delighted to announce the finalists for our 2019 awards gala.

The annual Awards for Industry Excellence showcases projects and organisations of all sizes and sectors from across Australia and New Zealand.

We are thrilled with the quality and diversity that have been shortlisted this year. In total, we have 148 finalists across 24 categories from Australia and New Zealand.

The winners will be announced at The Urban Developer's Gala Awards Night at Howard Smith Wharves in Brisbane on 23 October 2019.

The awards serve as the centrepiece event of Urbanity—The Urban Developer’s flagship annual conference for the creators of cities in the Asia-Pacific.

The Master of Ceremonies

Back by popular demand: Matt Okine!

Award-winning comedian Matt Okine will host the TUD Awards.

We are excited to announce the award-winning comedian, actor and presenter Matt Okine as the TUD Awards master of ceremonies.

Back by popular demand, the multi-talented, Aria-award-winning Okine is one of the country's finest stand-up comedians. He has written and starred in hit TV series The Other Guy for Stan, hosted his own cooking show Shortcuts to Glory for the ABC and was the former Triple J breakfast show host.

Okine regularly tours Australia and has taken his comedy around the world, supporting international acts such as Dave Chappelle, Aziz Ansari and Chelsea Handler.
