Located in Adelaide’s premier entertainment, cultural and hotel precinct is 'Frome Central Tower One' - a striking mixed-use tower incorporating a 4-star hotel with a podium entertaining area, serviced apartments and a 400 space car park.
But that's not all. It is home to the 'Adelaidean', a collection of 88 exclusive residential apartments that make the tower 134m high and the CBD’s tallest building.
The prestigious development was designed by architects Brown Falconer, capitalising on sweeping views from the hills to the coast to offer the ultimate premium city residences.
The Adelaidean apartments will stand at the heart of Adelaide’s dynamic East End district offering a colourful lifestyle of small bars, cafés, fine dining, music and art as well as a soon to be announced four and a half star international hotel providing exceptional services and amenities.
Kyren Group Founder and Managing Director Theo Samaras, the project's developer, is a proud Adelaidean committed to delivering South Australian construction projects and has no reservation in his belief that Adelaidean will be located in one of the most liveable cities on earth.
“The Adelaidean is a unique project that will maximise this site’s potential and provide many hundreds of construction jobs for South Australians when building gets underway in November this year,” Mr Samaras said.
“Construction of the Adelaidean is guaranteed because we don’t need to wait for bank finance that is dependent on any pre-sales.
“When complete in November 2019 the highest point of the Adelaidean will be 134m – the tallest building in Adelaide’s CBD - and will offer the most spectacular views from the hills to our coastline.
“As we launch the Adelaidean we acknowledge the many other proud South Australian companies that share our vision and passion for Adelaide and work with us every day to develop and deliver the highest quality projects," he said.
“We will also soon be announcing a new to Adelaide international hotel that will offer an exciting mix of commercial opportunities and will activate the currently poorly-maintained Tavistock Lane.”
Colliers International’s Nick Pelvay and James Polacek felt optimistic about selling all 88-premium Adelaidean residences that will occupy levels 22 to 35 of Frome Central Tower One.
“With all of the apartments having completely unobstructed, outstanding views in all directions we are anticipating strong interest from the local owner occupier market as well as local and interstate Asian markets, particularly in the two and three bedroom apartments,” Mr Pelvay said.
“Each of the 88 apartments have been designed with modern lifestyles in mind and include a large amount of internal storage, premium Miele appliances, ceiling heights of up to three metres with floor to ceiling double glazing that will deliver true spaciousness and spectacular natural light.
“There is a range of choices available to customise living, kitchen and bathroom spaces with all features having been meticulously chosen to deliver a premium living environment.
“From your apartment, the best Adelaide has to offer is on your doorstep but if you chose to stay at home, room and laundry service is a possibility and with the 600 square metre podium on level 21 and a range of other hotel facilities yours to enjoy, you will never be far from the things you want to do or that make you happy," he said.
“Each Adelaidean residence will have at least one car parking space, with all of the three bedroom residences allocated two parking spaces.
“The Adelaidean car park is private and secure from the rest of the development as well as having separate entrance lobbies and lift access.
“And with the upcoming expansion of the AdeLINK tram network and the redevelopment of the Old Royal Adelaide Hospital site, property in the East End of the city is only growing in value.
“Adelaide offers a magnificent and convenient lifestyle increasingly facilitated by the ease of apartment living in inner city locations close to shops, restaurants, cultural and sporting venues and entertainment facilities and we are expecting strong interest in the Adelaidean.”
The Kyren Group has developed in excess of $500 million worth of local projects to date and has a strong reputation as a developer who moves quickly on projects and delivers on time.
South Australia's apartment market is about one-tenth the size of the eastern states, but it has been through a record growth spurt. In the year to May, authorities gave the nod to 3,666 new apartments, townhouses and semi-detached dwellings, a new high. The city is at risk of oversupply, research house BIS Shrapnel said last year.
Brown Falconer's vision for the Adelaidean is one of timeless elegance and once complete the architectural design will rise as a contemporary, forward-focused tower encased in an envelope of glass bridging the divide between classic and modern.
Kyren Group is, above all, driven to deliver Adelaide the ultimate opportunity in city apartment living that will appeal to the head as much as the heart.
