South Bank Corporation Sells Pub For $10m

The

South Bank Corporation has sold the Plough Inn Tavern in Brisbane's South Bank precinct for more than $10 million to private publican Dave Argus.

The sale was managed by

JLL's Paul Fraser who sold the pub to the tenants of the building following an Expressions of Interest campaign.

“We are delighted with the result given the end purchaser was the highly respected tenant who has worked on the business tirelessly for over 10 years,” said JLL Senior Vice President of Pub Investment Sales Paul Fraser told The Australian

The pub is located across the river from Brisbane's CBD in the South Bank precinct which recently won the top prize at the 2014 Retail Property of the Year Awards.
