Explore the Growth and Development of Disability Housing

The Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) housing market is developing rapidly and is expected to create thousands of new homes for people with disabilities over the next few years.

According to the Summer Foundation’s annual report, it is expected that more than 30,000 NDIS participants will ultimately be funded for SDA, with the NDIS then spending an estimated $700 million a year on SDA payments.

Based on this, building the scale of housing required for the market has the potential to stimulate around $5 billion in private sector investment.

So where exactly do the opportunities lie and how can the property industry anticipate and navigate the challenges?

The Urban Developer has proudly gathered a panel of experts, operators, developers, financiers and designers to guide you through the future of the specialist disability accommodation sector.
