Private company Queenfield Pty Ltd is placing the Travel Inn Hotel in Carlton on the market.
CBRE has been exclusively appointed to sell the freehold and business of the four-star hotel at 225-245 Drummnond Street.
The hotel covers a 2,236sqm site and features 100 guest rooms, restaurant, conference rooms, courtyard with swimming pool and 50 car spaces.
The property benefits from over 80 metres of frontage to Drummond and Grattan Streets and a key location in close proximity to Melbourne Museum, IMAX Melbourne, The University of Melbourne, RMIT, Royal Melbourne Hospital and Carlton Gardens.
Scott Callow of CBRE will be selling the property freehold and business via a public Expressions of Interest campaign closing April 30 at 2pm.
Mr Callow said the hotel’s prime CBD fringe location and established client base would be key selling factors.
“Quality accommodation assets of this kind rarely come to the market and interest from buyers is expected to be strong both locally and overseas”.
“The Travel Inn Hotel boasts strong trading business with significant upside, providing significant earning and investment potential,” said Mr Callow.
