West Australian developer TRG Properties has secured a prime apartment development site within LandCorp’s Parkside Walk estate in Jolimont.
TRG acquired the only apartment site in the estate with direct park frontage and has announced its plans to develop 46 apartments.
Parkside Walk will comprise seven apartment sites and 24 single residential lots yielding up to 350 dwellings. LandCorp, the WA government's land and development agency, listed six residential lots in August 2017.
The majority of apartments will be premium 3-bedroom, two-bathroom and two-car residences designed with the owner-occupier in mind.

As a site that was empty since the early 2000s, Parkside Walk represents an urban regeneration on behalf of the WA Government and the Town of Cambridge.
Landcorp adopted the project in order to meet WA’s challenges of population growth, which include Perth’s expected rise to 3.5 million people by 2050.
The real estate arm of the privately-owned Transcontinental Group, TRG has worked previously with Landcorp, developing more than 170 new apartments for their Claremont on the Park precinct.
Claremont on the Park was a master planned project on a 9.4-hectare site north of the rail line bounded by Shenton, Graylands, Davies and Lapsley Roads. The redevelopment project was drawn up to deliver more than 750 homes for approximately 2,000 future residents.
